Winter

Winter
rises above a blue belly
and builds
the frozen Earth
rapidly.
White inky snow
feeds the growth.

Sky hues
and pale rose flesh
autumn’s remains
while spring is lost
below the horizon.

We whirl away into darkness.

Flash Fiction Online

Sometimes you read a story and it just stays in your head.  Six Dreams About the Train by Maria Haskins (from Flash Fiction Online) is one of those stories.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
