Monsters

when all the daylight

leaves the sky

you and I

walk darkness by

our fingers touch

dry as bone

just two monsters

moonlight stroll

then something flies past

in the air

something tangles

in my hair

I lose an ear

and you a toe

maybe just a hungry crow

but no

a witch

and just her notion

steals our parts

to make a potion

you

lie

awake

and find

a memory

repeating

notes played

music

fragrant

as the autumn

moon

in the morning

your eyes

melt

into me

like

the sun

 A House of Unknown

At the end of the street
was a house of unknown;
no one lived there for years,
the trees overgrown.

There was no electricity
and no earthly strong gas,
and no one reported
the shadowy grass.

A house of gray skies
most neighbors ignored;
a house of great secrets
where keepers were stored.

Until one night
in the month of October
the sky lit up green,
and the house sparked and flared
from a window above
a wicked witch stared.

The children all trembled
would her trick be a spell?
Would they turn into toads?
No one could tell.

But on Halloween night
on her porch in the gloom
she passed out some sweets,
and they rode on her broom!

Watching

watching

you in morning

fading..

light ripples

into sound

beyond

you have never

made me wonder

about

your heart

your ocean of

madness

the sound

is iridescent

September

September came and left so quickly.  But this apple tree is still etched in my heart!

Perfection..

The Wind

I’m sorry I’ve been away!

Autumn has arrived and the trees are are changing color. I hope you are staying healthy and are enjoying the season.

I’ve had a chance to watch a few films, and if you like silent movies you just might like The Wind (1928) with Lillian Gish, Lars Hanson, and Montagu Love.

Yes, I would recommend!
