Love Struck!  Happy Valentines Day! ❤️

Angel Face

Angel Face (1953) directed by Otto Preminger.  The ending is a little shocking for 1953!  Yes - I would recommend!

New poetry by Jan Darrow

today

I came upon this house

this aimless set of doors

and light and windows wide

with yesterday

and in this room

the light

has passed

into a random thought

of you

and nights

before our war

before a dream

was lost

when we were young

and we were all

we knew

Parameters from Building Sound

Parameters

Tonight

you brought the ghosts

with you again.

Their whispers

carried by the wind,

or maybe just a lullaby.

The music plays

upon the windowpane

it sounds like death.

I am alone.

Outside in winter chill

the night looks in.

And gathered in my room

with embers burning low,

the clock

is ticking time away

like falling

snow.

Shipwrecks

below the ice

in winter

down in the cold gray storm

are the whitefish

alone

in darkness they list

shift weight by the bone

the captains on long ships

row star board

home
